Hurrah to Hadassah
Networking with New Orleans Medical Powerhouses
On July 17th, 2022 the LittleOne.Care team headed to a conference hosted by Biohouse at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. Hadassah Accelerator, powered by IBM Alpha Zone, gave all the representatives of the Louisiana Trade Mission a warm welcome at this conference. Representatives included Ochsner Health, Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans, NFP, Jones Walker, New Orleans Business Alliance, Tulane University, Greater New Orleans, NewOrleansBioInnovationCenter, Louisiana Economic Development, World Trade Center New Orleans, Ministry of Economy and Industry, and Oscar J. Tolmas. These organizations traveled to Israel to learn more about the innovative Israeli startups working with Hadassah Accelerator, such as LittleOne.Care and their Elora Baby Wellness Monitor.
Yaniv Alon from IBM started off the conference by explaining the partnership between Hadassah and IBM. Next, Dr. Tamar Raz from Hadasit spoke about Hadassah’s innovation ecosystem and explained their process of recruiting and supporting startups. Afterward, each startup at the conference had the opportunity to pitch its ideas to the representatives of the Louisiana Trade Mission. Following the pitches, Hadassah gave all the representatives a chance to network with the startups, ask more in-depth questions, and learn more about Israeli innovative products and services that have the potential to change the future of healthcare. We want to thank Hadassah Accelerator, IBM, and BioHouse for inviting us to this event and allowing us to meet the intelligent and creative individuals who make up the Louisiana Trade Mission.
